Good to know before you book
How much gets done in a day?
Most single rooms (walls) or a batch of touch-ups fit in one day. After you book, send us photos and we'll tell you honestly if it's more or less. Your painter also walks through the job with you at the start of the day so you know what's realistic.
I'm a realtor or landlord. Do I need to be there?
No. Someone just needs to let the painter in at the start of the day, or leave a key or lockbox code. Vacant units, listings and rentals between tenants are no problem.
What about paint?
If you have paint, great. If not, tell us your colours and we'll pick it up for you. Paint and primer are billed at cost on top of the day rate.
When will my painter come?
We call within 24 hours of booking (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–4:30pm) to pick a date that works for you.
What if I need a little more time?
If your job just needs a little extra time to wrap up, we'll take care of it and only charge for the portion of a day used, at your discounted next-day rate. For example, 2 extra hours is a quarter of a day. We'll always check with you before going past your booked time.
What if my job takes less than a full day?
We'll suggest other small jobs to fill the rest of the day. If there's nothing else, the unused time becomes a credit toward a future Envision booking.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Life happens. Bookings are non-refundable, but your money is never lost. Reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice and any unused time becomes a credit toward a future Envision booking.
Is the work guaranteed to be finished in a day?
You're booking a painter's full day, not a fixed scope, so we'll get as much done as can be done well. For a guaranteed scope and our 10-year interior warranty, book a free estimate on envisionpainting.ca instead.
